Fire at C&H Sugar Refinery in Crockett, CA

At 9 a.m. this morning, a fire ignited inside of the C&H Sugar refinery located in Crockett, CA. The fire began on the sixth floor of the building on a conveyor belt that is used to carry raw sugar. Fortunately, due to the intensity of labor and quick response of the 65 firefighters who responded, there are no reported injuries. The damage of the fire is still under investigation, however, there was reported smoke found only on the fifth, sixth, and seventh floors.

Fires can ignite at any time and do massive damage to your property. Make sure to follow the guidelines of the National Fire Protection Association located on their website: https://www.nfpa.org/.
